Can the display screen be set to not turn on when changing ISO with fn

When the FN button is set to ISO can the LCD be set not to turn on. When I'm taking a few shots and I want to modify ISO the display turns on and displays the info screen. There are times when this is mildly annoying (low light) and I can already see the ISO setting in the viewfinder.

What camera have you got?
Mines a D5100 and there's a button close to the shutter called "info", press it to turn the display off and back on.

Just tried it and the display goes back on when the shutter is pressed so it may not be the answer you need.

Just turn the LCD back around you using the viewfinder anyway

Thanks to all for taking the time to respond. Rexer John I'm using the D5100 and have been pressing the info button to turn off the screen in this case. carguy unfortunately I do have that setting turned off. Rodbender I would prefer to not have to resort to flipping the LCD around. But alas while the D5100 does not seemingly provide a setting to disable the display in this scenario. I did stumbled upon a beneficial side effect when the shutter button is pressed half way, it will inhibit the display from turning on. So as long as I half press and hold the shutter button, followed by pressing the fn button and using the exposure compensation dial to tune in the ISO value I desire. Then release the fn button before taking the shot or releasing the shutter button, results in me not being temporarily partially blinded by the LCD. Thanks again for all who responded, and to those who would have responded with their insight.
