Hi Guys I really would be pleased if you can help me with this problem not sure since its happening but I done Everything I guess seems that the AFS AFC Button on the left side doesnt seem to work; the lens and the button are on AF Mode and doesnt let me change the focus points the don't even appear in the visor; I'm starting to believe that this happened when I upgraded the firmware to 1.30 Thanks so much

Welcome Carlos. You only describe the position of the focus function buttons. There is also the 3rd autofocus mode, AF-A where the camera decides if you are shooting with continuous AF or not. Check which mode the Command Dial is in, perhaps it is in Auto or a scene mode. Just try with the dial in A, S, or M mode to see what changes.

And this trick has rescued at least 2 cameras on this forum recently from being sent a service center. Pull out the battery and memory cards, turn on the power switch, and then hold down the shutter release for 30-60 seconds. Turn off, put battery and memory card back in, and turn on check. This has the effect of discharging capacitors in the camera so it will actually reset the logic.

Does anyone know how to revert to a previous version of firmware - in case that's what caused this issue?
