    250,000 clicks

I checked today and my D500 has had 250,000 shutter actuations. It's still going strong, but when I saw a used D500 with only 3,000 clicks on MPB.com for $1019, I jumped on it. Having a pair of D500s I feel like I'll be set for several years to come.

    Now, anybody want to buy a D7100 or a 300mm f/4?

Guess I need to play catch up - only 71K on one and about 15K on the other.

I doubt that I have taken that many with all four of my digital cameras combined. That's a good bit of "pitchure takin'."

Sounds to me like some folks just lean on that shutter in Ch mode and pull 1 or 2 images out of a burst of 20 or 30... I don't have 40,000 images across 4 cameras, one a D200 going back 15 years...

Maybe it's my old film background that makes me go slower...

Kudos with the longevity! I already have a D7100 and 300mm f/4 so no interest here. But I'm surprised you'd part with the 300mm even though you have a super zoom. That 300mm is one sharp lens and is lighter than your zoom!
