The D500 and 200-500 5.6 are keepers.

Thanks everyone for all the likes. The bird was dead center of the frame and this is a huge crop. I cannot get over how sharp this shot is. I think it is safe to say I have a very good copy of the 200-500 Lens.

Thanks again!

I think (not that I'm biased) that the D500 and the 200-500 are probably the best wildlife combination on the market at this time. This shot encapsulates for me, all that is great about the combination even at higher ISO's.

Not for nothing, but the D500 and 500mm f5.6 PF is a pretty fine combination as well. And I don't have to join Crossfit in order to lug it around for a day. :)

12182019 (43).jpg Just got my D500 & 200-500mm Lens a few weeks ago. Had some health issues for a few weeks & then it has been rainy & cold so I didn't get out much. This is probably my best shot so far.

Not sure if it is my best D500 shot so far, but it is at least my latest!

Snowy Egret with a mid morning snack. Murrells Inlet, SC. D500 with the 600mm f/4 and TC-14B

I have only had my D500 since May but I haven't had much chance to use it. This was a couple weekends ago at Capitol Reef National Park.
