i am having problems transferring my pictures from my Camera to the laptop, there seams to be a little movement at the cable base where it goes into the camera and it loses connection, i had to transfer them yesterday on my wifes PC then copy to mine. Anyone else experience this? do i order a new cable or a xqd card reader? easy fix for now is to write them to the SD card and insert them into the laptop.

Only i am stuck with today's pictures on the XQD card (or would the card be the fault) ??

I'm a little unclear on the exact issue... We're talking about a mini-USB to USB-A cable?

If so, is the problem with the mini-USB connector being a little "wobbly" in the little plastic bit it fits into at the end of the cable? I've seen that plastic casing around the connector split, or crack, resulting in the whole cable failing. My solution has always been to simply replace the cable.

i tried a new cable (phone) and it work ok, its a dual cable ?? i will post a picture of it later, but i would agree a new cable is needed.

I was lucky enough to get an XQD card reader early on that came free with a Sony card. I never plug in the camera, too much hassle and cables always get tangled and wear out. I know that the XQD card readers are a little expensive, but that's the route I will always go if I have a choice.

Don't you hate it when someone else tries to spend your money for you? :)
