I was tracking my order from Adorama this morning since it was supposed to be delivered by this afternoon. I saw that it never showed it left Edison, NJ 2 days ago, and wasn't listed as being on the truck. I called UPS and they gave me a song & dance about it taking a week to 10 days to complete an investigation they were now opening.

I called Adorama, who promised me 2 day delivery and they said if I don't get it today to call them Monday and they will overnight a new one to me. @Roy1961, you started all these shipping and handling problems you know? lol It's a good thing I'm not getting charged for shipping & handling.

That happened to me one time when I shipped a tv to my parents. We are guessing an employee stole it. DSL gave us the cost of the tv.

Just had a UPS warehouse burn in Miami, bet there are going to be a lot of unhappy customers there.

If you end up with my missing NAS parts, let me know.

At least I can't blame UPS for that one. That was squarely on Amazon for the mess up.

I was returning a lens today and noticed that there is a option to Return a extra one shipped by mistake, no refund needed.

What was lost has now been found. I have it all out of the plain 'ole refurbished box and have it ready to shoot. I was eating a salad and it was geting dark so I let my wife fire off the first 2 shots for actuation count purposes.

Man...who else would let their wife be the first to trip the shutter on their new camera? ;)

Very good question!!

This is a very serious offence @sonicbuffalo. These things are not taken lightly around here, and you may find yourself banished to the mirrorless sister site (Nikonites Jr) if this ever happens again. So watch yourself, young man!:p

Oh I know. She just prefers to keep life uncomplicated. I've offered her one to use on several occasions. She could if she wanted to just chooses not too. :)

I felt like I had too when after I pulled it out of the box and set it up, and asked her if she wanted to hold it, and she did. She then proceeded to tell me how good it felt in her hands. She shoots my Sony because it's smaller than the D7100, so I was surprised she was taking a liking to it. I asked her if she wanted to take a few shots with it, and she surprisingly said yes.

Watch out! If it goes missing, I have a guess as to who the culprit may be. ;) (But I wouldn't blame her, with you giving her the chance to try it out!)
