I was wondering if anyone has seen for example the Targa Grip Battery Pack for many Nikon DSLR cameras?

Has anyone seen a "GRIP-BATTERY PACK" for D-50?

"Seen" as in "held in one's own hands and used" or just seen in online stores?
If you're just looking to see if such things exist, there are many different brands, mostly of cheap quality. Check Amazon or eBay for multiple results.
AFAIK none of the D50 grips have a shutter release or command dial on them; they're strictly battery packs. Nikon never made an official one, and there's no contacts on the D50 for such things anyway. I've heard of some lower-end cameras that have 3rd party grips that have a shutter release, but as I recall it's tied to the IR remote sensor.
If you're looking for firsthand experience, I'll have to defer to someone else.

I have a D50 before and I bought a battery/vertical grip for it. The brand is Jenis.
China made. For the vertical shutter to be used, you should activate the IR function of the camera.
It doesn't have half press capability.
