Had a great weekend away in our caravan at Callander and my wife asked for a "wee shot" of my camera(D7000)
I had a hell of a job getting it back and now she keeps asking for it if she sees something that catches her eye(her pics are good)

Currently on Ebay looking at a nice boxed D50 with 18-55mm lens and all accessories for SWMBO
Think it's the only way I'll get peace to use mine

The bonus is, as it can use the same lenses as mine, I now have a good excuse to buy lenses ;)

Seriously though, having her enjoy the same hobby will help you get more lenses and newer Nikon models in my opinion. Because she will want them too, instead of wanting some other hobby gear taking money away from your photography hobby.
This is just my guess, since my wife isn't into photography, though she supports me in it. :D

Don't give her ideas;)

I think it's a good thing as we're already talking about getting out and about on trips.
We have our own touring caravan so we're away as often as we can so plenty of opportunities
Really looking forward to as especially as I've just won a mint, boxed D50 kit with all accessories for a good price.

That will teach you to take her to such an amazing part of the country. I remember, as a kid living in Dunfermline, we often went on Mystery Tours run by Rennie's Coaches and 9 times out of 10 we ended up in Callander. You make me quite nostalgic for the old country. :D

Callanders only 40 mins away with the caravan in tow so we go there quite a lot. Nice woodland site and stunning views
