D4s Charger MH-26a doesn't seem to work

Hello to everybody,
I just bought a D4s and after i charge the battery everything was great.
But when i go to charge again the battery the charger looks not working at all. No any light is open and nothing happen.
Looks very strange as i never see something like that.
Anybody any idea whats probably happen?

This may seem like a smart ass answer but is the plug pushed into the charger all the way? I've done this. Completely stumped for about an hour. The end wasn't pushed in all the way but just enough so that it was attached.

Its seems the charger doesnt receive voltage. Its very cold when i touch it. Of course i attach the battery correctly, i have done it ones more with the same battery and no problem at all. The point is that i have it just a week and comes such a problem.
I will call today at Nikons service to see what they will tell me.

That would be your best bet.

If it's new, first port of call for me would be reseller. My local store is a nikon professional reseller, and they always give me great service. However, being a NPS member, Nikon turn around for repairs or replacement is always first class. They've never kept me waiting longer than four days, and that was for a shutter replacement on my old D4.

Yes i would that also, but its a dissapointed a new and so expensive Dslr has such problems, even with the charger.
I am professional and i have weddings, i have 3 dslrs and sundenly i stay with one!!

I live in Greece, in Rhodes island and the service its in the capital Athens, so imagine how difficult its for me to have anything quick.
I have to call them and then to wait 2-3 days...!

For a professional the "after sales" sometimes its more important than even the product. I had say to them my problem and now i am waiting whats its going to happen. I will post the result.

I have MH-22 chargers (D3 D3s cameras) one of them didnt light up when I put the battery in. two things. REALLY check the cable that goes from the charger to the outlet and 2 change the cable and see if thats the problem. I though something was wrong with mine. I took it apart. used some electrical oil around the different part but that didnt help. realized it was the cord giving problems. clean the connection on the charger as well. the area where the battery sits and where you connect the elctrical connection. I dont think its the charger.

It is for multi voltage (worldwide) correct?

Thank you, I had already do it with 4 different cables, i also clean with spray all the contacts but still the same, probably some chip inside perhaps cut the power of the charger. Bad luck!

I am Professional photographer since 1997 and always Nikon. Fanatic. I never use other camera or lences. I never , never had any problems like that all those years. Especially with the D700 and incredible difficult situations (45 degrees hit). And shooting every day more than 1200 frames! Thats way i am shocked about that with the D4s. In the service they say to me that tomorrow they will sent me another charger from the D4 to do my work until comes a new one for my D4s. I hope to get it tomorrow as i have wedding and i have only D600 with me.

Good morning to all. I just received a new charger from Nikon service (MH-26) is the charger for D4, until comes the new one for mine D4s. They sent unbelievable quick (only half day ) and now my battery is charging so in 3 hours i will go to my wedding without stress! When i learn what was the reason for the charger of D4s and doesnt work, i will post it here. Thank you all.
