Dark Images In Sunlight

I keep getting really dark images anytime i shoot a photo in sunlight. Anytime i shoot a photo in share its 100% fine. I have reset the camera settings multiple settings, no changes. Any ides what im doing wrong?

What shooting mode? Metering mode? Fixed or auto iso?

Is this something that just started on your D3400 or has it always happened?

What do you mean exactly when you say it's fine when you use it in "share"? What do you mean by share? Do the images look ok when you view them on the camera's lcd monitor ? Or are they dark even when you view the image right in camera and then when you open them in your port processing program they become dark?

Just a thought, you might have the "protect highlights" activated wich would underexpose your image to protect highlights. I don't know if the 3400 has that mode though.
