    D3300 Infrared Conversion Photos
This is a favorite......... The detail produced by the D3300 with the "lowly kit lens" impresses me. Particulary since it is infrared.

Ted; You're obviously a very accomplished photographer. I liked the pictures you posted, pre infrared, but these photos are absolutely stunning. Do you enter photography contests at all? If not-you should! I would like to go infrared in a couple more years but have to learn basic photography first. Now let me see if I have this right-once you change your camera to IR- you can only shoot IR? I also think you implied that you did mega photo processing with these pics, correct?

Thank you, and you are very kind. But, most of the time, I'm the only one posting IR. There are a lot better photogs out there and mine are just examples. Once a camera is converted to IR, it will only shoot IR. It can be converted back is some cases, but you're best off dedicating a camera to the conversion. I had a D3300 that I wasn't using so that's my IR camera now. Initially, I had a point and shoot converted. Once I realized I liked IR, I sold it and moved up. As for processing, it's a relative thing... you just do what feels right.... more OR less. Good luck!

Ted; you only addressed one of the questions I asked so I'm going to ask you about contests and the amount of processing for these photos. I wasn't trying to be kind- just truthful Paul
