I know this might sound really dumb, but is there anyway of putting an old lens on to a new DSLR?
I found an old Jessops Semi-Fisheye 0.42x attachment lens in my storage and just wondered if there is anyway possible of getting it onto the D3200?

Thanks

Short answer: Mabye.

It''s possible the lens you have is an "F" type mount, making it compatible with your D3200.

That doesn't mean the lens will meter or auto-focus, however.

"Semi-Fisheye 0.42x attachment lens" means (to me at least) it's a filter-thread adapter that screws onto the front of a lens just like a filter. If the threads are not the same size as the lens' threads, you merely need an adapter ring.

But, those attachments usually aren't that good in the optics department. So don't be surprised if you're disappointed with the IQ.

This is what it is:

This is something that you would screw onto the front of your lens. Though, i beleive the thread is 53mm... but you can check that on the lens itself.
