My Nikon D3200 is not working

There's a lot of reasons for nothing appearing on the screen!

When you turn on the camera, look thru the view finder - do you see numbers and digits and stuff on the bottom? Can you press the shutter and take a picture? (Please set to full auto mode when you do that!)

Report back and we can help you.

How long have you had it? Is it still on warranty? Is it the first time this happens? Have you read the manual to see if you could find your answer?

Also measure the voltage on the battery with a load if possible...It may not be charged, my original Nikon charger lasted 5 months.

I am having the same problem with my D3200. Numbers do appear, but no picture is taken. The green light is blinking. When it WAS working, it would not recognize the SD card. Is my camera just dead and in need of replacement?

Another vote for a bad SD card. That card type is so notoriously inferior to anything else that the inventor deserves to be cooked into glue. Toss the card and try another.

Rant: I never bought any cameras using that card type, none whatsoever, and in hindsight the choice was correct. My 21 years old CF cards still work perfectly, and not a single one has failed.

Do you have an SD card installed? If yes, try another card.
