Photos from the D3200

In an attempt to show the breadth of people's creative skills using the D3200, it was suggested I start a thread encouraging people to post their photos here, using that camera. I don't mind if they've been digitally enhanced but it would be good if posters told us about their work. But any image from the D3200, is most welcome. Cheers, Brad :) This cream lotus flower was my first attempt at shooting flowers in the field. Some people dislike the blue, out of focus, foreground. Others like it. Personal choice I guess.

Is that a real flower? I ask because I thought that center was a sprinkler head.

Glad to see you started the thread.

Sure is real. The 'sprinkler head' is actually the seed pod forming. You can see the finished pod (green) on the left of the flower. The seed pods are often used in flower arrangements.

Just so that I'm not stuck in the land of flowers and close ups, here are a couple of other images taken early morning at Wilson's Promontory, Victoria, Australia. And as it's now Sunday 10am here in Melbourne, Australia, I'm heading off to the market. Enjoy your evening folks.

Love the sun coming through the clouds, beautiful shots! I would post but I have a 3100 and not a 3200. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Why don't you start a Post your D3100 Photos thread?

Do it, ladytonya, start your own 3100 thread. I have a friend with a 3100 who would love to see others work. Brad :lemo:
