'Auto' Mode dial suddenly stopped working (not focussing anymore)...

"Auto" mode on the top dial........What worked fine for months, has suddenly decided to not work now. The camera used to beep when the shutter was half-pressed, and then focus the image on the red points (as it should), but now it doesn't do anything, just takes horribly blurry photos..

I didn't intentionally change any settings, just turned my camera on for another photo, and it just didn't work.

I'm using an 18-55 and 55-200 lens.

Any ideas how to fix this?

There is a reset all setting mode in your menu. Check your manual for the location. That is the first thing I would try. You probably set something that changed it.

There is a switch on the lens. M / A make sure it is on A
