blurred pictures in auto mode

Hi completely new to this forum so a big hello to everyone and hope i get some knowledge out of these forums.

I have a D3100 which i purchased August 10, im having a few problems with some slightly blurred pictures and the brightness is to much in automatic mode, i semi click the shutter button to focus then take picture in the correct way.

It would help if you posted an example along with the Exif data so we can see what you are and the corresponding settings.

Without seeing the data, off the bat I would advise turning off the active D lighting feature, tends to create washed out images sometimes. Make sure it is off and shoot something in Aperture mode with a decent shutter speed and see if that helps.

If you do a Google search on D3100 focus problems you will find a lot of information. I have a D3100 and the first one I got had a major focus problem Search the threads here and you will see what I went through to get mine replaced.
