It's weird. I recharges my battery maybe a longer time than usual. PUt it in my camera. Then it start showing the flash hilighted. It's like I was pressing the flash button, but I did not pressed it. And it stay like that, it's like I am pressing the flash button and hold it.
A week earlier I got a 70-200mm, I wonder if the weight bended the frame/body and broke the camera. Also removed my lens and reinstalled it without turning off.

I installed the last version of firmware. I reset all settings. NOhting. It mostly start when my camera point down then I put it to my eyes. Pop the flash and the above problem.

Thanks

If you are supporting the lens with one hand and holding the camera with the other I see no reason to believe it broke the mount. As for switching lenses with the camera on I have done that before with no problem, not recommending it though.

What mode are you using? Does it still do if you switch to another lens? How did you reset the camera setting?

I've done the same a few times, even took out the SD card while the camera was switched on, not recommended but can be done so easily if your not paying attention.

Like this.

Resetting the D3100
The D3200 and D3100 do not have a 2 button reset option. To perform a reset you need to manually choose the reset option in the Shooting Menu and the Setup menu. To do this press 'Menu', select the Shooting Menu and scroll through the options until 'Reset Shooting Options' is highlighted, press ok, highlight 'Yes' and press ok again. Repeat this for the Setup menu.

Is it constantly on or blinking? If its constantly on it indicates flash ready and may not be recognizing that the flash is down. If it is flashing it indicates the camera thinks flash will improve the picture.

Have you tried it in no flash setting on the mode dial, the lighting bolt near the green auto setting?

Ist's intermitant. I just started to bend the frame and it stopped... until I leave it alone.
So seemed that the frame is bended. It happened 1 week after I got the lens. It was probably too heavy for the camera.
