My Adventures With My New D3100

I started a Project 365 with my L110 (visit my Flickr if you want to see it) but it kind of fizzled out due to boredom mostly. Now that I have the D3100 in my possession my creativity has reemerged from the depths. As I'm still learning the camera I won't be producing a "keeper" every day, so I made this thread to keep my collection and update when I can. Without further adieux...

The first shot had to be of Oscar the Dog. I did it with the L110 so out of tradition I did it with the new cam.

I'm already shooting in full manual and getting the hang of it more and more every shot. I find myself excited to go out and get the next shot.

Very nice, and good for you for shooting manual. That's how I roll, I like full control. You have some good shots here, I especially like the last 3.

Thank you! Yeah the first few were just playing around trying to understand the controls, the last 3 were my first attempt at some serious shots.

No worries. We all are.

Here are a few more from the past week or so. They're all pretty mediocre. The last 2 are possible submissions for a contest on another forum. If you could give me your opinions on which one you like more I'd really appreciate it. Again, these are far from anything special.

I prefer "pumped" (2). The decision decision sky does nothing for me as it has not enough details to become interesting.
