Single point focus issue

Back in December I sent my D3100 to Nikon to repair the shutter curtain. Ever since I've had it back, I've had an issue with the sharp point of my picture being off to the left of my subject even though I have it focused directly on the eye and the subject of my photo is always a little blurry. I know I'm not moving it because when I go to take the next shot its still where I put it prior. I have submitted this question to Nikon and am waiting for a reply but wondered if anyone else had encountered this type of problem. I am doing a wedding for a friend next weekend and am debating using my P&S because I'm terrified of ruining their pics. I can fix some in pp but not as good as I'd like. Thoughts? Advice? Thank you!

I would send it back. Most probably, while repairing the shutter, they have messed up the Alignment of the AF module.
