camera will not power on

I had tried 4 different batteries and still wont turn on. My kids just started cheerleading and I need it fixed fast. But the local repair shop said it would take 3 weeks just to get back with what's wrong. Anyone have ideas on what I can check? Thanks

Check the contacts down in the camera. Make sure they are clean and didn't get bent out of the way or similar. Is your charger working and charging the batteries? When was the last time you used it?
