Unable to Change Shutter Speed

I have a D3000. How do I Change the shutter speed
in Guide menue
Shoot
Advance Operation
Freeze Motion (People)
Shutter speed is at 1/200 and has a down arrow. The up arrow does not appear. How do I change the shutter speedd?

Rotate the thumbwheel above the joystick/selector/button thingy, top right on the back of the camera

No prob, for some reason the menus sometimes appear to stick, just cycle through the options and exit, then change settings using the thumbwheel. If you want to do the same style of shooting without using guide mode, just set the command wheel to S
