Well I'm trying to get a D300, and it will be my Christmas present from my wife! My first try, the bidding went up too high, and so I missed out on a practically new one with just under 7000 clicks and everything that came with it when it was new including the box. That was depressing! :(

But I found another one that is nearly as new with only just over 7000 clicks, just a few hundred clicks more on it than the first choice! But this one does have a few extras, so I'm hoping the bidding doesn't go up too far!

If this auction doesn't work out, then I may have to find a buy it now listing. The clicks might be more than I prefer, and a it might not be in quite as great of condition as I hoped for, but at least I won't have to deal with being out bid up past what I can afford to spend! Lol :D

Anyway I hope you'll wish me luck, so I can join the D300 club! Lol :D

Thanks Papa! :D Well I guess that depends on how you look at it! Lol It always seems like one less than what I would like! Lol :D
But at last count this would be my 4th Nikon DSLR! My only excuse though, is a bad case of NAS that I caught here, hanging out with all of you! Lol ;)

Good luck! How many cameras is that now???

Deals are out there if you are patient. After giving my D3100 to my sister, I was sure I needed a backup. I felt bad that things didn't work out for the D5000 that John had for sale here but then one came up on Ebay, almost new, with less than 2k clicks. The buy it now was $270. Almost new backup.

Your right, patience often works best! I just sorta need to not waste too much time, and find it while the wife is willing to count it as my Christmas gift from her is all! Lol :D

But it looks like they have quite a few for sale right now, and I should be able to find one to fit the Bill(pun intended lol) if I'm careful! :D Well I hope so anyway! Lol :D

Congrats! Now you have to start selling the camera that you won't be using. Don't wait too long because they go out of fashion pretty fast.

Well my wife has dibbs on any unused Nikon's, since she had a big hand in getting me into photography! Lol So I don't have to worry about selling anything, which I really suck at anyway! Lol :D
