I tortured my D3s!

If there was a law for torturing a camera, I would have been in jailed already.

Got some extreme blizzard today with wind gust up to 35 knots of wind. I don't know what got into me but I thought of testing how true the weather sealing is with this camera. It lived up the hype and I didn't felt worried at all.

You're a brave man Glenn. It's good to test our equipment like this but there comes a point where the bravery turns out to regrets. I'm glad for you didn't get that far this time. :)

What's up with the weather out there??? Still having snow in Japan this time of year?

Gotta have a little faith with the pro gear.

Still taking pictures with the snow storm. I didn't even bother looking at the view finder. I just pointed it in the right direction.

WHen I had my 3 F5's doing weddings years back I didnt have a care in the world. and lenses didnt have great weather sealing as today. but after my gear was stolen and it costing me so much money, I say this time, I need to look over my gear.

I was with a BG shooting them on a loctaon and after I was done I put my F5 80-200 on the roof of their car. this car was giving them all sorts of issues with the immobilizer. I was talking to the bride and the groom was in the car. finally he started the car and took off to make sure it was running properly. I yelled to stop and he braked hard, the combo flew off the car. the lens mount broke and the F5 had a nice crack at the bottom but kept working. lesson learned. gear stays with me, close to me no matter what. rain, no way. Im still paying this gear off. but to go out like that in the snow. thats kamikaze stuff there HA!

I don't call it bravery but more of "nuts"!

It was nice and sunny yesterday but there is this nasty snow storm that is passing by and it is heading up North. It has been unforgiving and it forces the train operation to stop and most likely a lot of people stranded.

I wouldn't mind visiting the Sapporo Snow Festival next time.

Well, when you have money to burn like Glenn does, you can afford to abuse your gear like this. :) Glenn...you're NUTS, man! :) lol
