D200 focus problems

I just read part of the thread on the focus problems of the D7000, someone suggested that Nikon would fix the focus problem for free. Does this apply to my D200 as it has focus problems also.
If I focus on a flower the view finder image looks good but the actual picture as viewed on my computer is blurry. The camersa seems to focus closer to the lens. That is if I were to set up a 4321234 focusing range and focus on the 1 the picture itself would be focused on the 3 to the left of the 1. This seems to happen with all my lenses so that is why I think it is the camera.
What are my options? I want to take care of this the least expensive way possible.

is it still under warranty? If so they should fix it if it has a problem. If you have not had it long >30days I would take it back to where you bought it and see if they will do anything.

I've had the camera for about 3 years, so it is not under warranty. I should have done something about the problem before now. I am most likely SOL.

The D200 has a very complicated focusing system( Nikon changed it with the D300). Please read your owner's manual and possible buy an " after market " book on the D200. Magic Lantern has a great book and it explains better than the owner's manual how to achieve great results.
