Can I shoot tethered with a D200 WITHOUT a CF card with Lightroom 5??

Hello,
I have a D-200 that has bent pins in the CF card reader. The parts are on backorder from Nikon, and will not be here for 2-3 weeks. I am desperately trying to complete some product photography.

Can I shoot tethered with Lightroom 5, without a CF card in the D-200? In other words, while shooting with the D-200 tethered with Lightroom 5, will the images be imported to my hard drive with Lightroom 5 without a CF card in the D-200?

Thank you!

I did a little googling and the answer is "YES" but you will need camera control software. Lightroom doesn't appear to support it but you can try a free trial of "Control My Nikon" and see if it will work for you. You will also need to extend the usb cable.

This software is free but with less capabilities "Camera Control"
