Coolpix P900 EVF Refresh Issue

Hi, I have recently purchased a Coolpix P900 for those days when I don't want to tote my D750, and I have noticed that a lot of times, when I take a picture, the EVF does not refresh (I have to turn the camera off and power it back on to refresh the EVF). Has anyone else had issues similar to this? Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Dont have that with mine, just had a look in the Menu and cant see any settings you can change, unless there is a setting i cant find for showing the image after taking,if so you would get the same on the LCD rear screen.

Me either what is really weird is that I can take a picture of a tree and then point the camera at the water, and it still shows the tree (with the image in the viewfinder blurry). Very odd.

Without being able to see the actual display, it sounds like possibly the camera is getting stuck in image review mode.

I can't see any settings to adjust the image review time but you could try switching it off completely to see if it makes any difference.

Press the playback button > menu > spanner icon > Monitor settings > Image review

Not sure what the deal was, but I did a restore to default and that seems to have cleaned it up. Maybe a bug in the software? In either case, it seems to be resolved. Thanks for the replies.
