Nothing much because the weather is crap but just took four or five from the front door, the camera seams very nice and responsive,i should get to use it a bit over the next few days so will add pictures and any thoughts i have about it.

The first thing i dont like is you charge the battery in camera, will do an ebay search see if any one sells cheap chargers.

Welcome to the world of Coolpix. it does take some getting used to. I have a wall charger and extra batteries and as I remember they were not that much.

Had a quick look on ebay and i think its about £20 for charger and one or two battery's so will get them ordered,i remember you saying you got fed up of carrying all the gear, well i have days when the Tamron is just too much but i still want to go and take pictures.

To be honest this weekend I walked around the Air Field with my son for about 6 hours and even carrying the P520 my shoulder was sore. Bad backs and camera gear just don't match up well.

I find I want to take less with me because of the weight.

but

there is a trade off. The question is is it worth it ?

Maybe yes ?
