Hi,
At work, we have a Coolpix P500. It appears to have dirt on the sensor. It's not on the lense as it's been cleaned, and the spot is in the same place on the images no matter how far in or out you zoom.
I had a simular problem on my own Ca*on EOS400D, and a sensor clean sorted it.
I assume that with these sealed units, you can't clean the sensor?
Hopefully you can pick it out on the attached picture at the top left of centre (And no, there's no marks on the backing paper....).
