Hi Guys,

Require some help on my Nikon L23 for takiong Pano images.

I set the menu to Pano assist and take some 5-6 photos continuously. Then I will take some other scenery and take some 8-10 pics. When I connect to my computer to download the images there are 2 issues

1. The first set of 5-6 images are replaced or deleted and on that the 2nd set of 8-10 pics are residing. Then if I take some more Pano images then the previous ones are deleted.

2. Whenever I take the Pano images there are duplicate images created for ex. 001.jpg, 001(1).jpg, 001(2).jpg........

What might be the mistake and is there any setting that has to be done.

Thanks

I have maybe a clue for you but can't be sure since I don't have that model. Have you looked in the files to see if the pano shots haven't been renamed or put in a different folder on the card. I know that's how it worked when I was using a canon point and shoot camera. I'm pretty sure the files are still there but you might have to dig in to find them. Is there a special pano software that is used with this camera? Have you looked in the manual to see what they say about using the pano feature. Did it work before and doesn't now or was this your first trials of pano shots?

Sorry, but this is all I can think of.

Thanks for the reply @Marcel

Frankly speaking I had deleted all the images before I started the Pano experiment.

So there were no folders that were created. Nikon L23 doesn't comes with inbuilt Pano software where it usually stitches the images after the last image. I was taking the images as per the manual itself. This was the first time I was using the Pano fature.
