J jdeg ^ broke something Staff member May 19, 2010 #2 Does the camera take pictures? If not check the battery, try a different one if you can. If the camera does take pictures then the screen may be dead and you'll have to get it repaired.

E Em11y New member Jun 2, 2010 #4 my camera starts up blank, and only the top LCD shows when I first turn it on, what your experiencing sounds quite normal try pushing the info button on the back of the camera to wake the display
