nikon capture nx

can anyone tell me why my capture nx program will not read the files from my nikon d700 as it reads files from my d2x

What version Capture NX are you using? Chances are it is an older version that came out before the D700 was produced. Go on Nikon's website and download the latest version and I suspect that will fix your problem.

Thank you for your reply. I have tryed the nikon help line and they tell me that i have the latest upgrades

Download the latest version and see if that doesn't fix it.
