Need Help From Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Subscribers

Folks,

Do me a favor and go into your Creative Cloud desktop app and tell me what you see listed in the "Included in your Subscription" section.

Specifically I'm wondering if Premier Rush is listed there with an INSTALL button or if it's in the "Trials" section below it.

For me it was in the Included section and I simply installed it, but now I'm being told I need to pay for it after 3 exports. That's not "included" that's a trial and it would seem Adobe is having none of my arguments that they need to honor what they offer. Not for nothing but as I discovered I had to pay for it I was led to an offer for both Premier Pro and Rush for $9.99/mo but am being told that this isn't the price - something I realize and yet I would expect them to honor a price shown when I click on the Buy Now button.

Please, no rants about Adobe and/or software as a service, there are enough threads about that. I just want to confirm what I'm seeing.

I'd be happy to look but I get my CC subscription through the college where I work which means I pay $40 annually for a suite of Adobe applications.

I have things in my available apps I've never even heard of... Fuse, Dimension, Fresco?

Hey, Jake. I pay $9.99 and this is what's included with my subscription.

The Photography bundle for $9.99 has Rush as an included program but it is a demo good for only 3 uploads. It needs an additional subscription after 3 uploads. You can create as many videos you want if you do not upload them.

I have a number of subscriptions like DreamWeaver, Acrobat DC and the photobundle.
If you want a high end video editor, the best one is free, DaVinci Resolve 16

OK, so this may make the most sense to me, so help me to understand.

When you say, "Create as many videos as you want if you do not upload them", what constitutes an "upload"? Is it a share to social media or is it the rendering of the video file either to social media or your hard drive?

If I understand you correctly the app is free if you use it simply to do edits on your tablet or desktop for later use by Premier Pro, but if you want to use it to create video files then you only get 3 free before you have to buy it. Correct?

God, I've been on calls twice now with Adobe "support" and not once did anyone mention that there could be a free use and a paid use - and I've wasted easily 2 1/2 hours with them. And not for nothing but there's also this page that shows both Premier Pro and Premier Rush for $9.99/mo but when you click on Buy Now in the center box it prices it at $20.99.

Rush has a builtin counter that limits you to exporting (regardless of destination) 3 videos. After that, you need a subscription to unlock it.

I finally found that page under my own account. If you click on Learn more in the center box, it only brings up info on Rush. So for some reason, they are only promoting Rush as the price. Yet when I clicked on Buy now, the price changed. Definitely false advertising on Adobe's part.

Believe me I know everything it does and does not do. Adobe "support" folks have mastered the art of "I don't care what you see, this is what it is". They tried to tell me to look at what's included because it only shows Premier Rush, but the fact that not only does it say "Premier Pro" above and call it "Industry Standard Pro video..." but if you click on Buy Now you get Premier Pro in your cart tells me that they don't care if their website is misinforming folks, this is what it costs and no one has the power to do anything about it.

I have developed an amazingly bad taste in my mouth over them in the past couple days, after years of paying for the plan. I'm not leaving yet, but they may have started me down the road of living life Adobe-free.

But outside of exporting everything else remains fully functional without a subscription?

I can't answer for Fred, but after quite a bit of digging, this was the only thing I could find. Possibly you already found it, too. Sure sounds like you should be able to, Jake.

Can I get Premiere Rush for free?

Yes! Anyone can get Premiere Rush for free as part of the Starter plan. This plan includes ongoing access to all the Premiere Rush features, use of desktop and mobile apps, the ability to create an unlimited number of projects, and export up to 3 projects. For unlimited exports, you can upgrade from the Starter plan to a paid plan.

And one would think that after 2 1/2 hours dealing with support one person (I went through 5) would have been able to tell me that instead of just saying I had to pay for it. It's what happens when "support" is tied to a script.
