Rumor has it this initial release is just bug fixes ... no new functionality. Not sure I want to pay $50 for bug fixes to software I already paid for. I don't see any special pricing for original paying customer, just the discounted price of $50 for anybody who jumps before July 1.

Yes, just bug fixes for Nik according to the DXO posting. Since the current Nik (which I intially purchased) is working without problems with my Photoshop CS6, I'll just stand pat.

I will include some of the rest that was in today's email if that helps give additional info:

NEW - Compatible with the latest Windows and Mac operating systems
The 2018 Nik Collection by DxO is now fully functional with the latest 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.

NEW - Adobe Creative Cloud now supported
The app is now completely compatible with Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, Photoshop CC 2018, and Photoshop Elements CC 2017/2018!

NEW - Optimized user experience
The Selective Brush tool is now fully operational, and you can modify filters and dynamic objects freely.

Mine seems compatible and fully functional with all I have.. using it as a stand alone.. on the latest mac osx.. with Photoshop Elements 2018.. or Photoshop CC 2017... etc.
I just love the way some of these software companies make it sound like you just have to upgrade at an introductory offer of only 49.95 before midnight tonight or your computer will blow up. :)

I've read that the company is in financial trouble and I think they are just trying to get money out of your bank account.

If you already have this program running OK on your system, don't spend another dime for this "update".
