I was a die-hard Firefox user for a long time but finally got fed up with it about a year ago and have been on Chrome ever since. I'll give the new Firefox a shot but I'm in no hurry to switch back to it.

I want to like chrome, but as long as they don't have the favorites side bar like Firefox, Chrome is a no-go for me.
but Chrome does have the bookmark manager which i'd say is the equivalent of the favorites bar. just pin it and it's there all the time.. the bm is the main reason i switched to Chrome and haven't looked back. but to each his own..

Yes, you have the favorites bar in Chrome, but this is not the same as the Firefox favorites side bar (at least for me). Yes, perhaps if I could pin the bookmark manager as a permanent sidebar, this would work. How to I do this? I do not want to have to click on the sidebar manager icon everytime I run Chrome.

you just right mouse on the tab and and select pin tab then it stays there on subsequent starts (it's the smaller tab with the star)..

I used to use Firefox all the time, but have been using Chrome for several years now. I tried out this new version and while it was quite nice, Firefox stays in second place when it comes to browsers IMO.

You wouldn't have to worry about upgrades you don't like if you did what I did here at work: I never upgraded the operating system from Windows XP. Firefox and Chrome will not upgrade, telling me simply that they do not support XP any more. And my Outlook Express still works, too!

At home, it's Win 10 and PS CC, etc.
