Alternatives to Photobucket

I have used this site for a number of years and it has become an ever increasing PITA. Now I have to upgrade to use the links to post here. I am done with this POS site.

Anyone have any suggestions? I prefer a free site because I won't use it that often

There are several "free" sites (I use Imgur), but who is to guarantee which free sites will remain free for how long?

Agreed on Flickr. You get a TB free storage and you chose which images you make private or public. Default setting is private. The only thing I worry about is that Verizon has aquired Flickr and I have no idea how they will go forward with it.

Another option would be Dropbox, if you don't upload much.

Flickr. I've been using it for about a decade. It's free, has a rather active discussion community and linking to forums, etc is easy :)

BONUS: Join the Nikonites group page :) https://www.flickr.com/groups/1477917@N21/

I know this thread is a tad old and I'm sorry for bringing it back up, but for anyone wondering:

Alterantiveto.net

This site allows you to search through anything. For instance, if you type in Flickr and click search, it'll list all the alternatives out there. Free, Commerical, and Freemium. It's not specific to photography. It'll show alternatives to just about anything. Great resource if you need to find something (it does list alternatives to android apps, iphone apps, etc. Not just for windows or mac).
