New monitor advice

My Asus desktop monitor (Windows 10 OS) has just quit which, after all the voltage spikes and outages caused by the wildfires, is not surprising. I use this largely for photo processing so I want to replace it with a unit best suited to this purpose. Recommendations please?

You should be looking at IPS monitors.

I've been pleased with my dual Dell U2412M set up. Not crazy expensive :)

Cheers, Don

I've been using a pair of ASUS IPS monitors at the office that I'm pretty happy with. The PB278Q is 27", with lots of inputs, and has done well on my Apple computers.

Not knowing your budget for this I'd suggest the Dell UltraSharp U2717D. It's in the $400-$50 range.

The Dell monitors have been getting great reviews, too. The ONLY reason I went ASUS instead of Dell was because I could source the ASUS locally and have it that morning, vs mail order.

Turns out that the monitor is OK it's just the AC/DC adapter that is toast. Got a new one on order from Amazon though it will be a while arriving. With all the wildfire road closures we have no mail service at the moment.

I didn't realize the fires were that bad up there. Stay safe!
