2 Minute Image Finish - Moose Peterson

This is an interesting vid from Moose Peterson. I like his idea of bringing down saturation after using dehaze for a more natural look. He's using Adobe Camera Raw, but all of this would apply when using Lightroom, as well.

That was interesting. He desaturated in a later step after a second dehazing due to artificial color caused by dehaze.

My current steps in ACR with new pics are usually dehaze, clarity, vibrance, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, sharpness.

I liked the way he demonstrated saving settings plus how to mask in sharpness.

Thanks for posting that.

Funny how it took almost ten minutes to show the 2 minute fix. There is some good stuff in there, and I'm going to watch several more times.

He's right though, at least for mostly everything but high fashion where every hair has to be perfect.

And making presets and then apply as default are my #0-1-2 things to do to each batch of shots because then you're picking and choosing in bridge with your rough look pre-applied and see everything how you'd want to minus any micro adjusts.
