Lightroom update just released

Lightroom 2015.4/ 6.4 just released.

It finally fixes Nikon tethering for Mac running El Capitan plus has a couple of new features.

What’s new in Lightroom CC 2015.4 and Lightroom 6.4?

Just downloading it now, just checked on some of the updates,

Thumbnails now update much faster when you edit multiple images using sync or copy and paste, and Lightroom’s now much smarter about preemptively building 1:1 previews, which means they load much faster when you’re zoomed in and flipping through photos, even if they weren’t built in advance. Also, panoramas should merge about twice as fast as they did in Lightroom 6.3

6.3 was slow when merging.
now with 6.4 twice as fast (well so they say, will have to test it)

Just downloaded and trying it out.

Tethering works again - yippee.

Does what it says on the tin - so far.

I'll be waiting.

Folks like @Don Kuykendall will be happy that Adobe has added native lens profiles for most of the popular Bower/Rokinon/Samyang glass.

Interesting ... Adobe CC Manager told me there was a PS update to install, but is staying mum about any LR updates...

I just started the update. It includes PS, LR and Bridge

If it ain't broke, I ain't fixin' it.

There's a cool "Boundary Warp" feature for panos that I wouldn't mind checking out, but the problem lately is that new additions come with old stuff breaking. I can wait until next week and watch the blogs.

And today ... Adobe CC decides I have updates available for Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, and Media Encoder. Guess I know what's clogging my downloads this morning...
