Has any MAC user upgraded to this version and if so do you recommend it?

But I am downloading it now

I will let you know how it is in about 7 - 8hrs lol

Yeah I saw it is a 9 hour download.

Oh well I think I will hit the button and go shoot some photos for the duration or the bulk of it.

Thats going by Australian slow down load speeds

Well I thought by going out for a few hours I would avoid the download. Seems not.
My computer went into "sleep" mode and after about 4 hours or so i still have 7.5 to go. Hardly seems worth the bother.

Well it is installed and so far so good, seems faster.

I can't say I can notice any difference

I Just downloaded and installed El Capitan. Download started last night (long down load duration make sure that you are plugged into a network not on wireless) and the install was done this morning took about 30 minutes.
