    Well I thought by going out for a few hours I would avoid the download. Seems not.
    My computer went into "sleep" mode and after about 4 hours or so i still have 7.5 to go. Hardly seems worth the bother.

    I Just downloaded and installed El Capitan. Download started last night (long down load duration make sure that you are plugged into a network not on wireless) and the install was done this morning took about 30 minutes.
