Downloaded and installed the Official Version. Here are the problems
. The operations are now in NKSC_PARAM subdirectory instead of in the NKS_PARAM directory
. The operations file is now xxxxxxxxxx.NKSC instead of xxxxxxxxxx.NKS
. The operations text was in pure XML, now it is XML for data definitions. The operations are in numbers only
What is bugging is that the Version 1.0 will not read the older xxxxxxxxxx.NKS files, so in effect the adjustments are lost in the new version. This means that if you want to retain the adjustments made in beta version, you need to use the older beta version. For newer files you use the version 1.0. As both the version cannot coexist, you need two OS partitions.
I have deleted the Version 1.0 and reinstalled the Beta version in my main Windows 7 partition. As I do not see any difference in the adjustments, I will install the newer version only after I can figure out the migration path. I may just install the newer version in another partition of Windows 7. (I have 4 OS's - 2 Windows 7 for latest software, one for production and one for testing, WIN XP-32 for certain old programs and Win XP-64, where I do most of my work.)
