Frame script for Photoshop 7.0 available?

Due to financial reasons I cannot afford an upgrade to a newer Photoshop. Stuck with version 7.0 for now.

I would like a frame script like Don uses that resizes, adds a frame or border and my name or copy right to the edge of the image. I am sure asking for placement of EXIF data is out of the question with my version of PS.

Is there anything out there I can make use of for now so I don't have to build frames one at a time?

Can I write my own script or action successfully?

I can.... mail you... CS6.. Not sure about building... but I'm sure there are some programs that can give you some pretty good frames.

Would that be legal for me to have a copy? Or do you not need your original copy? Would love to have it but I don't want anything black market or pirated. I think I have that issue with my current copy of PS 7.

I can see a "copy" being illegal but if it were the original disc should be legal? I see used software packages sold all the time.

That is why I asked exactly what he meant by "mailing me" CS6.

The person giving or selling you the original disk could have loaded the program on his computer and still be using it. I would never by used software. You run the risk of not being able to use it at all.

No. It's not. But works... just gotta block internet connection to it. Has it's downfalls.. but for a poor college kid, it's a viable option. lol. :-/

Adobe has hooks in its software that prevent it from being actively registered on more than 2 computers, and run on more than one at a time. I ran into this when I gave my Mom my copy of PSE9 and my wife PSE10, while neither had been "unregistered" on my Adobe account first. If you are giving away old copies make sure you unregister it before you uninstall it as it's far easier that way than it is to unregister it after it's uninstalled.

There are people here who I would more than trust to pass on older software with no hassles. But remember, if a deal is too good to be true, there's probably a catch.

I got to use Photoshop at school for free, but can't really afford it on my own. When I finished school, don't really have access to it anymore. :-(
