Cleaning up your computer

Hi there, people. Just thought I'd mention this. If you'd like to clean up and exponentially speed up your computer, the newest version of CCleaner is out. It stands for Crap Cleaner, as many of you know, and it really does a great job of cleaning out the crap that accumulates over the course of a day. And it's still free! Disregard the solicitation for funds.......it's free. Download from File Hippo or the Piriform website.

I have been using ccleaner for many yrs now. I actually just bought a new laptop and the dealer actually installed this program on it when he set it up for me. Highly recommend it to anyone out there... :)

Does it do anything to the registry? Like Regedit? I used that once and had to reinstall the system software because I could never restart the computer. I definitely need to do a "cleaning" and would like to try it.

Hmmm, I used this program for yrs now and to be honest, i never had any problems whatsoever. It just cleans out the crap that clogs out the system.

Sounds like a good recommendation to me. Thanks!

BTW, many years ago, I visited Nova Scotia--camped on the very northern tip by the sea. One of my most favorite places in the world!

Best Regards

It's nothing like regedit, Helene. Once you set it up, you can clean whatever you want, including the registry. Believe me, once you've used it (you'll be surprised at the amount of "crap" that's accumulated), you'll be so glad you did! :)
