Just wanted to know what you Nikonites use for your photography editing monitor? What are your pros and cons on it?

I can't decide what to get of the four below

Dell UltraSharp U2412 24-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor 24" ($264 Amazon)
NEC MultiSync EA244WMi($ 458 Amazon)
AOC i2367fh ($ 159.99 Amazon)
NEC MultiSync EA232WMi ($ 278 Amazon)

If you have a better suggestion, please do suggest :)

I use a Samsung 22" screen on my home computer. Fantastic resolution and colour. Love it. Big enough for me. Right now I'm on a 14" screen Lenovo lap top. lol :)

I use the 27" iMac. ;) I went down to the local electronics shop one day, pulled up some of my full sized photobucket pics on that giant crystal clear screen, and almost fell over. Worked a deal for 3 years no interest and took it home.

*insert "checked with the wife, showed her the pics, she saw me drool and knows my ever-growing love for the art, and gave me the nod" here*

Yes, I'm spoiled.

I have a ViewSonic, its around 4 years old. Its hooked up to a Mac Pro, but I also use my MBP. Samsung makes some great monitors so dont count them out. Remember as with just about anything related to digital world, you get what you pay for so see if you can find one in the store and see how the display looks.

I have two LG monitors. A 22 inch and a 20 inch desktop is extended over the two screens. That way I can have Bridge on the 20 off to one side and PS on the main 22 . I can also have a web browser open to Nikonites while I am editing in PhotoShop and see it at the same time.

Two 24in Dell ultrasharp IPS screens . They are rated at 1920x1200. My old laptop had that resolution. Once you try 1920x1200, you can't go back

I use a 24' Dell ultra sharp HD monitor. So far it's performed flawlessly

A 24 foot monitor? Wow, I can't imagine the pixel peeping you can do on that screen LOL! However, we all know the secret now to your photos... a monitor the length of a small house.

On the phone now ordering one and the tech keeps telling me it doesn't exist. I know better so I'm holding for a manager and I'm going to ask for the Dave_w special monitor.

And the prize for posts goes to Moab Man.

I was taking a drink of my coke at the time I read this and almost had it coming out of my nose.

Unfortunately, I am stuck with a Dell laptop that is 6 years old. I know the screen is not doing justice for my photos. When I look at my photos on my Playbook or at work, there is a huge difference.... I can actually appreciate the resolution! I have been quietly thinking about getting something more current.

21.5 IMac. The color is spot on and what I see on the monitor is exactly what I see from the printer. I cannot imagine it being better except for the IMac 27. That is next on my list.
