Perfect Effects 4 - software for PS/LR

I downloaded a free copy of Perfect Effects 4 (Perfect Effects 4 Free - onOne Software) and I'm very pleased with the effects it provides. It's a little like ColorEfex but with a lot more versatility with the ability to modify the given effect. It seems to use a platform similar to PS with masks and layers. I'm quite impressed with this program and I'm especially impressed with the price!! :D

Thanks for sharing. I really like the price as well and plan on downloading it later today. Something to play with when I can't sleep at 2AM.

I'm supposed to get a free copy from the Kelby seminar I took. I'd love to see how much more tweakable the effects are than Color Efex Pro. From what I saw in the 4 minute demo it looked a little like Viveza + Color Efex Pro, so I'm not sure how much more you're getting. I'm so spoiled by the control points now that I look at the need for masks and go "too much work". LOL

It has a good number of things that neither ColorEfex or Viveza does not have. I wouldn't say it's any better or worse, but it's certainly a nice addition to the party!

For free, I'm not complaining. Heck, when I think about what I got for my $79 for the Kelby course I'm not complaining.

Oh - I didn't realize they were giving away a version as well!! Can't beat that. The pure number of effects in the full version is a little mind blowing (401), but 70 for free is nothing to sneeze at. I'm supposed to get mine in 3-4 weeks (you would have thought they would have given them out there, but nope), so I may just download the trial.
