Year 8 almost done. Been super busy shooting this year, and less time to write blogs. I went on multi trips and have settled into a 14-24 2.8 and I love the 24-200. It makes a super compact travel package. I tend to bring the Z6ii as the travel camera, works a bit better in lower light and for me 24 Meg is usually enough detail. Overall, The 0 Thanks/Like ...
very cool, just discovered the inside the camera sensor protector filter, 125 dollars with shipping, not cheap, but looks well made, and IF it solves the Z dust bunnies, you can be sure I will get them for all my Zs This is epic. I can't believe it could be this easy,, I honestly don't know why nikon just did not sell this as an 1 Thanks/Like Rick M Thanks/liked this post ...
another month flies by. My Nikon journey is stable, I have enjoyed my Zs and even updated to the latest firmware. I have seen a slight improvement in AF, I would not call it lighting fast, but fast enough, Ironically as my high end stabilizes, I end up being drawn back to medium format and now large format, I shot a roll 0 Thanks/Like ...
The Z9 orders have heated up, and so many anxiously waiting for their order, Me,, I just picked up a Mint D200, 24K shots on Shutter, not a mark on it, being a studio camera. WHY!!!?? good question, First it is my 3rd D200, the first I gave to my oldest Son, the second to well a second Cousin and both learned photography 0 Thanks/Like ...
For the early years, I created a blog entry every day, but a144 days between entries. I am glad to say that my conversion to the Z platform is mostly complete, and it was not cheap. When you consider the bodies, memory, and the slew of Z lens, a full platform update was a major investment. Luckily, one does not have to this that often. 0 Thanks/Like ...
swoosh,, been having too much fun shooting to write a blog, besides nobody really reads these blogs anyhow, so, like singing in the woods, so does it even matter. So,, I am loving the new Z 24-200 lens, does exactly what I want a lens to do. Takes pictures with no fuss. and not having to change lens all the time. Its as close 0 Thanks/Like ...
Loving the Z Trio of Z50, Z6, and Z7,, take your choice for what event. or needs. One of my favorite is the Z50 for mobility and convenience. I have a 24-200 zoom lens is on backorder, I am sure interested in its image quality. I'll drop a review once I ahve had a good go. 0 Thanks/Like
Yesterday, I did a nice long ride on my motorcycle and photographed some water falls,, Lens of choice, the Nikkor 14-30 F4 S lens, because it takes a K&P variable ND filter on the end, creating the ability to slow down the shot to whatever blur you desire. I consider this the ultimate waterfall lens, added to a Z6 or 0 Thanks/Like ...

The year seven is flying by! I decided to do a full review of my edited folders which represents a ratio of about 10% of my photos. So, I went thru 50K of edited folders to pick out the photos, so out of the 50K almost 900 made the first cut, and then another round of those 900 to about 150. which is around a 0.2% of photos, which illustrates 0 Thanks/Like ...
