I gave the Nikkor 70--200 a bit more of a test at an Ultimate Frisbee game,, which required focus tracking and well fast focusing, so,, how did it do?

I grabbed a quick shot of the cat, using the New ,, well used Nikkor 70-200 F4 lens. nice that the lens lets you get up fairly
close, so,, an excellent portrait lens, and quite sharp. Totally no regrets on getting this lens. I feel my Nikkor set became
    more complete.

70-200 F4 N showed up,, sweet lens, I like that all internal zoom/focus, so a bit long, but no telescoping tubes during zoom or focus, so less chance
of dust to get in! Dust being the evil to digital.

just a very quick grab,, comparison to the 80-200 2.8 this is super cropped on the focal point, and the top is the new 70-200 F4,

just locked in a used nikkor 70-200 F4 VR,, It was between the F4 used or a older used 2.8,, but I really got swayed with the lighter weight and
awesome reviews. I tried out one at my local shop, and zoomed in on some writings, sharp sharp,

We are really getting spoiled in sharpness, gone are the days that one has to tolerate less

I used the camera for a photo shoot yesterday in an urban setting. First, its amazing how many people recognize the camera. It appears among photographers, many are aware and were very interested in seeing one. Next, it is a pleasure to use, and I am beginning to appreciate the quality of this sensor. I have noticed a reduced work flow time per photo,

5 days,, onto the Nikon DF,, and how is it holding up in impression, very fine, I used it at a sporting event and even with
the slower Auto Focus and such, I found it up to the task. I took a pile of action shots, using my Nikkor 300 F4 lens, on
    spot focus,,

The shots in post edit, barely needed any tweaking besides the

Yippee, the DF showed up,, perhaps the most panned SLR that Nikon released, and... hah,, I love it!

The one issue that kept me away,,, was size,, and yes, it still feels bloated, especially when I put next to my
trusty F3, but when I place it next to my D800,, it is a shrink, and compared to what a D4 or D5, its tiny.

I have been bouncing back and forth on the Nikon DF, such potential, such failures, one can read the almost countless reviews, and such,, and
    get the opinions,

Up front, what I don't like,, the still too large of a body,, the less high end focusing system, kinda sad that they did not at least put the D800 level

Amazing how fast March is flying by, I am on my yearly Western Photo trip, LOVE coming out West for something different The best is to
sometimes get off the beaten path. Course you come out expecting to see TONS of old shacks, cars, mines, etc, but they are actually a bit
harder to find, you have to keep your eyes open, and of course,

hard to believe that his is now going into my 5th year of creating this Blog, for the first two years, I actually created the Blog Daily!, but now, it is more occasional spread over the year.

Each photography year gets busier with classes, followup, hangings, and a yearly photo show that I jury/help run. Would be sweet if the sales of
