Grandson's First Pics

I gave my grandson (8 YEARS OLD) my 1st digital camera, Kodak DC210, 1 MP and $895 back in the day. I took him on his first shoot and hope it will grown into something he'll enjoy. It was a blast. Just wanted to share his first photo! DCP02897.JPG

Nice Bill! He's a natural. I think my family had that same camera actually.

One thing I find funny every time I take a picture of a kid, they immediately want to see the picture on the screen. One time I was shooting with a film camera and he just didn't understand why there wasn't a screen to preview the picture on it.

Hey Bill
Little guy did a great job. I am happy when a young person is excited about or has intrest in learning the art. Teach him well make it fun and challenge him he won't even know he learning. He will just be having fun turning out some great work before you know it. My Grand-daughter is only 4yrs old but pa-pa has iake contless photo of her and I let her take photo also (I hold the camera and zoom lens ) she fires when she is happy. We name the differant parts and buttons on the camera & studio lighting. At 4 will she retain any of this info who knows she likes to spend time with me when I am shooting she enjoys shooting if it helps to encourage the continuation of the art by young people then I am game. sorry for rambling LOL I just really feel we need to encourage the young people and spend positive time with them and glad to see you are.
