Actuation Count

I'm attempting to sell my D200 on eBay and have been asked several times what the actuation count is. Not a clue, and not a clue where to find the info. Can anyone help? I haven't paid too much attention to this, but apparently it's important to a few potential buyers. Please advise.

Thanks Eduard, I'm a MAC guy from the get-go ...... Sometime in the past someone, and I obviously can't remember who, had written the instructions as to how to find the count in the menu settings. If the camera doesn't sell this time, I'll put it back together and go through pain of searching for it. Hopefully I'll stumble upon it. Having not paid too much attention to this in the past, is it important, or is it just shooter paranoia?

Okay so this worked on my Snow Leopard-based MacBook. Open the last picture in preview, then open the inspector (command+I), click on the Nikon tab under i, and you should see the shutter count.

I usually use Opanda but I am also pc based. I thought you could run a windows program on your mac? I sure love the display & graphics on the macs, just stunning.

Finally figured this one out with the help of Eduard ... simple keystrokes on a Mac. So I have 32,803 clicks on the D200 ... it is suggested that the camera dies (figuratively) at 150,000 clicks. Anybody know what the average annual click stats are? I'm think'n around 10K.

Mine is almost 5 years old, and I have just over 10,600 clicks on it. As to the "average", I think that would be a guess at best, as this would depend entirely how many shots the user took during that year. So not a practical way of judging shutter usage over a period of a year. Some shoot hundreds a week, some just a few a month, and so on.
Seems to me yours has plenty of life left in it at 32k clicks. So depending on what you're asking for it, I would imagine you should get between $500 and $600 for it. Good luck with the sale.
