I had gotten back my Recently bought Nikon FE and I had a Nikon 24mm f/2.8 AiS ready to mount....
I loaded up a roll of Fuji Neopan 400, and shot it at ISO 200... I souped it in Rodinal 1:100 for 15m at 20c, agitation 10s/60s.. The negatives where a little thin.. ISO 100, may be better. I haven't tested the meter in the FE, so it may be off... I will do that later....
I should include, that thee was some mineral deposits on these ARggggg........ :( ,

But, I can always say, "I made these look like old time photographs" :p

Here are a few of the photos from my 1st day out with my Nikon FE, 24mm f/2.8

I also shoot Street Photos - you can check mine out at RickSawThat in the project 365 Daily Photos forum. I like the raw feel of your shots. Let me know what you think of mine :)

I sometimes do stop and talk to those I photograph, I was in my "Grab-Shot" mode. That is: Walk, Pause, Snap, keep walking. :D
Thanks..Eye-Level

If she would have said yes then you hand her a cart visite with your number on it and a model release form like your David Bailey or something...hell tell her you work for AP or National Geographic if it works...and THEN you walk away...LOL

You never know what kind of snap you might get! :)

Yes, so true, I should keep BCs in my pocket...

Even though the shots have been turned into digital for the forum I can still see the difference in film and digital. Is this just me or is there that much of a difference. It'd been years since I have shot film.

No, film has a definite grain structure that digital can't achieve because of how the image is formed to begin with. Film may not resolve like a 16mp sensor, but, it can resolve some very small detail with the right film and quality lens and developer.

In one of my building images, there are details of fake mutton's in a distant buildings window. Yes, there are grain specks, but the edge sharpness does not suffer like a digital image might do, due to other factors that only belong to an electronically formed image.

Just as all sensors are not created equal so all films are not created equal either...not all scanners are equal either...lol

I have to hand it to you man....developing your own B&W is something else! :)

Her scanner is a bargain at somewhere just north of $40,000.00 - has to be calibrated each time, and kept in a temperature controlled environment.
Too much $$ and work for my tastes.
